Today’s blog post features photos of a few of the beautiful woman that I’ve photographed over the years. These are pretty rare photos because I’ve found often times women do not like to be photographed at all. So many times women have taken on the roll of their families “personal photographer” and are behind the camera taking pictures of their family or events. So much so that they prefer to be “behind the scenes” invisible to the world. Every woman seems to have their reasons. Whether it be “I’m not dressed to be photographed today.”, “My hair looks awful!” or “I have to lose some weight first.” (This personally is my excuse every time).We typically overlook the fact that there will be no documentation of us during this time in our lives. I realized this when I was looking for a photo of myself for this blog. I searched high and low for a photograph of myself and am embarrassed to say that the most recent photo of me alone was from 8 years ago. Of course there are a few pictures of me talking or holding a glass of wine at a party but I certainly didn’t have a photo of myself that I could be proud of. So I finally decided to get that camera out and just do it! I urge each and every one of you to get your camera out and take a self portrait or have your significant other take some pictures of you this weekend. It’s your time to shine! You’re beautiful!
