I had the honor of photographing the “F” family on Saturday. Their beautiful daughter was home from New York for the weekend and they wanted to commemorate it with a family portrait. All day I had prayed that it wouldn’t rain so that we could do this shoot outside. When I arrived at the “F’s” home my prayers were answered, the weather was gorgeous. I stepped inside their home and it was a natural light photographers dream! The house was flooded with light and the decor was fun and hip. Soooo… of course we had to shoot inside, wouldn’t you? I think we made the right decision. The colors and lighting look gorgeous and of course so do the “F’s”! This certainly taught me to be more flexible and let things unfold as they should :). This is some of the best portrait work I have seen in many, many years. Colours, lighting, subject matter and placement of the “F” are all top class. Detail captures (eye colour for example) outstanding. Extremely well done.
