The” F” boys have been coming to the studio since they were born, I love seeing just how much they have grown from session to session. It is always a fun challenge coming up with new and exciting  themes for their shoot.  Summer was drawing to a close and I was itching to use my new blue trunk outside before the weather cools off. The boys were up for it, I think that these boys would be up for almost anything! I sourced the blue trunk from Room 363, a new lifestyle store specializing in one-of -a-kind gift, home decor and accessories right here in downtown Naperville. The trunk was a great way to get the boys to interact and still tell a story that is age appropriate.  Two boys, one blue trunk and a glorious late summer afternoon lead to lots of laughs, headlocks and razzing going on which made the session that much more fun!  Looking forward to seeing you again next time boys.

The use of a simple prop can help transform a session from a series of static photographs to a much larger story. It gave the boys some focus and took their minds away from the fact that I was there to take their photograph. They were creative and engaged which meant some crazy good captures which are always more interesting to the eye than a static pose. These photographs can then be grouped in a series to tell a story. Collage prints are a great way to make the most of this type of session. Here at the studio we can advise you on your selections and we have a wide variety of styles and sizes to choose from.   A collage of images printed on a gallery wrap canvas can sure be a show stopper once hung in your home.  This particular session will look great on a  24×30 canvas.  What a great way to remember the boys at such a fun age.

See you soon,

Alicia
