I’m so excited to officially introduce on the blog our first senior session of the Class of 2017!!!

Miss Rachael attends Courtland High School in Fredericksburg!

What better way to show off these 2017 seniors than with a destination shoot?!

Rachael flew in from Virginia to have a senior session with me in downtown Chicago.

I am so honored that she chose me to do her pictures!

We had a blast and covered so much territory during her session.

We were hot and exhausted but you would never know by looking at her final images.

Rachael was a trooper! What a sweet, beautiful and fun young lady!

At her school, Rachael is involved with Future Business Leaders of America, tech club, Spanish club, and key club.

She loves volunteering where she can teach – the mentally challenged are her favorite! She loves it when she can make them happy and they learn something in the science area. That spark of learning really drives her!!

Rachael is also a great sales and marketing person – a natural!!! She is pursuing a degree related to international business.

She is currently looking into DePaul and Randolph Macon as her first 2 choices.

Rachael plays soccer, basketball, piano, and viola.

She led her basketball team to many wins!! She’s a leader and tears up the court as though she owns it.

Her style is very eclectic bohemian. She loves to look like she stepped out of the sixties and seventies!! So antique shopping is one of Rachael’s favorite activities!

Her hobbies are the gym, reading the classics, listening to music, hanging with friends, and putting her artistic ability to work!! (Rachael enjoys jewelry repair and making soap and beauty products!)

I just LOVE how this particular shot below turned out! It’s so simple and yet strikingly beautiful!! The sun is at that perfect angle.

Miss Rachael speaks Spanish and some of the different dialects along with French, Japanese, and Korean.

After college, Rachael will attempt to go to the Japanese Exchange and Teaching (JET) program before she pursues her masters, hoping at Harvard, Dartmouth, Cornell or U Penn.

This motivated girl is really thinking ahead!!

Rachael loves going home to Chicago and Santa Fe.; she loves the feeling of family closeness and belonging. <3

Coming to Chicago for her senior shoot was a treat for sure!!
