I adore this beautiful family. They have been coming to get pictures ever since we opened the studio and I love to see the girls grow and their delightful little personalities develop. In fact you might have seen a sneak peek of the girls in last month’s Naperville magazine!
Aren’t they just adorable? The session was extra fun this time around as Mom and Dad were also included in the pictures. Now that is a very important point. Most of us appreciate the fact that we want to have lasting memories of our children at various ages but it is easy to overlook that it is very important that you are also in these pictures! They will of course be keepsakes for you but also your children when they are all grown up. They will love seeing themselves as kids but will treasure seeing their parents and your relationship with them even more. I know some people might think; ” I need to lose weight, I’m not as young as I used to be, I don’t want to be in the pictures”…… don’t let those thoughts stop you. We all have something about ourselves we’d love to change, heck I’m not as young or as thin as I used to be but getting my family pictures taken this year was a great experience for our family and LONG overdue. I know that my children will look back at the pictures in years to come and remember that day but more importantly what it felt like growing up as part of the Johnson family. I want that for you and your kids too.
You don’t have to be in every shot, these images show that we showcased the girls individually, together and as a family and the results are family heirlooms.
