The ‘G’ family requested a family shoot and then threw out the idea of them all wearing their Bears shirts for some fun family shots which could be used to brighten up their basement decor. Well, that idea worked just perfectly as it meant that the family was able to interact and have fun and at the same time I was able to get natural expressions and images of a family who know how to enjoy time together.
We started off getting to know each other before the Bears shirts came into play. The ‘G’ kids were perfect for the camera and were a pleasure to photograph. The weather also played fair that day and the natural setting and the light complimented the solid duo-tone color palette beautifully.
Then the fun really began…..
I love how Mom and Dad are right in there in the middle of the action, this really tells a story of a tight knit fun loving family. I think I need to give the light another shout out, it was ideal for the series and the winter sun made it almost bearable to be out in short sleeves, I guess the running around also helped a bit. I know it was a good way for me to keep warm!
