With the new year brings new and exciting things at Alicia’s Photography. Our studio is busier than ever! After conquering over 350 family, newborn, children, maternity, senior and boudoir sessions this year, it occurred to me that I just may need help. As you know I am lucky enough to have an amazing team working with me to see to it that you are taken well care of during your experience at our studio. Without Laura (studio manager), Kim (editor and second shooter), Jenna (Office Assistant), and Renee (hair and Makeup) it would be impossible to manage the client base that we have and still give you the high end quality that you deserve. With that being said, there has always been one area of our studio that has sat on the side lines. A wall flower of sorts waiting to be asked to dance. Well…that wall flower will wait no longer! Alicia’s Photography will officially be offering weddings to ALL of our clients now!! Woohoo! I said it! Most of you know that I have stayed away from weddings because the time commitment is just too demanding (especially if I’m doing 350 other types of session all year). You may say, “but Alicia I see you post wedding images on your blog and facebook. You obviously do weddings.” Well, the answer to that is, occasionally I would do a wedding here or there because the bride or groom would be an old client of mine. I only reserved the few wedding a year that I offered to dear clients. The studio will no longer be turning down weddings. Yay! I’m sure you’re wondering how we can offer weddings and continue to cater to our other wonderful friends/clients. The answer is Samantha Jensen. Samantha has officially joined our Alicia’s Photography team! I couldn’t be more thrilled! After a year of interviewing we finally found the perfect match for our studio.
Samantha has been a wedding photographer for 5 years and has MANY weddings under her belt. Anything from large high end weddings to small private “family only” weddings. She is one calm, cool, collected lady. Just the person you want to be in charge of your wedding photography. Her creativity, imagination and desire to create unique images gives her an edge that only true professional photographers have. I have always been concerned about adding other photographers to our studio because it is truly important to me that our style be consistent. My fear was that our styles would clash. Well, that fear has been dissolved. Samantha’s style blends smoothly and seamlessly into our studio and I no longer have any fears.
Samantha manages to capture the emotion and intimate moments of the day without being intrusive.
She’s always looking for a new angles or perspective to give you unique and outstanding images.
Details are imperative when trying to tell a story of a wedding. Samantha is fabulous at capturing these details.
No detail is left unnoticed.
