Today’s blog session features some “before and after” images. The “R” family has been coming to our studio since Ella was just a baby. We’ve had yearly sessions for 11 years now. I’m proud to call them friends and quite frankly they feel like family to me. I sure love this family! Over the years we have done vintage sessions, urban sessions and every type of session in between. This year little Miss Ella had the idea of recreating the very first session that we had created together. Ella was only 9 months old at the time so a lot has changed since then (including a brother). So Ella’s family agreed and below is the result. Please forgive my horribly scanned images not to mention that the original shoot 11 years ago was created back in the film days when that lovely “soft focus” filter was a must :). Boy has technology come a lONG way.

OK – how cool is that. It was like one of those flip books where things slowly change. And that makes me know I have been gone too long…those kids are all grown up!!!
